Izzy has been with us for about five weeks now. We've been having a lot of fun getting to know her so far. She's really cute and active. When she first came home she kept doing that "chasing her tail" circular motion all the time. We thought she was just playing around but then noticed that her little tail was getting a little red. We took her to the vet and she said that there was probably some pain and itching from when she had her tail clipped and she was trying to scratch her scar by chewing on it.
The vet said it was totally normal and sent us home with some meds and a cone to prevent her from hurting herself.
Well... Izzy wasn't having any of it. Jay had to force-feed her the medications because they didn't taste like chicken and lamb meat. She absolutely H.A.T.E.D the famous cone. I think every dog has to go through it at least once. But at last, she survived and her little tail is much better now!
So, here is Izzy when we first put the cone on her:

She was obviously not happy, but it gets better:
But why are you doing this to me?
Poor Izzy!!!
